Governance, registrations and funding readiness
A trust or non-profit mandate must reflect the governing instrument, actual activities, donor conditions and applicable jurisdiction. Formation, tax exemption, CSR eligibility and foreign-contribution permissions are separate questions.
Formation and governance
Reviewing proposed objects, trustee responsibilities, resolutions and records. Deed execution, stamp duty and registration formalities are assessed for the governing state and the specific instrument.
Compliance and documentation
Organising books, activity records, donation information, earlier filings and the documents required for the applicable tax-exemption or donor-deduction process. The correct law, form and period are checked for each mandate.
Funding and CSR readiness
Preparing project descriptions, budgets, governance information and donor-requested records. Readiness support does not guarantee a grant, CSR eligibility, donor approval or funding.
Foreign-contribution matters
Reviewing existing permissions, donor and purpose details, designated accounts and reporting records. FCRA permission, renewal, receipt and utilisation conditions require a separate, current-law review; domestic registration does not itself authorise foreign contribution.
Prepare the organisation's records
- Governing deed or charter, amendments and registration details.
- Trustee or governing-body details and the authorising resolution.
- Activity reports, accounts, earlier returns and existing approvals.
- The proposed project, donor conditions and any notice or deadline.
Chartered Accountant certificates, statutory audit opinions and legal representation are handled only by the professional qualified or authorised for that role. Sensitive donor or beneficiary records should be shared through an agreed secure channel after acceptance checks.
